Permits are typically required for pool construction to ensure compliance with local safety and building regulations. BAFCO POOLS manages all necessary paperwork and inspections, providing you with a seamless, worry-free experience. What should I do if my pump is not running?
For a standard pool, begin by resetting the pump or filter pump breaker. Next, adjust the Intermatic timer to the correct time. Then, activate the orange or red switch located beneath the timer. These steps often resolve pump issues. For pools with spas, only reset the pool pump or filter pump breaker. If these measures prove ineffective, please contact us for professional troubleshooting and repair services. What if my pool water gets too high?
If the water level reaches the tile just below the curved coping brick, it is at an appropriate level. Should you wish to lower it, you can utilize the manual drain at the pump. In cases of heavy rainfall, our deck design incorporates a drainage system that directs water away from your home, preventing overflow and potential damage. While the system may require time to manage intense rainfall, it effectively channels water towards the deck drains and into the yard.Is my pool leaking?
It's normal for pools to lose up to two inches of water weekly due to evaporation, with heated pools or those subject to excessive splashing potentially experiencing higher rates. To determine if you have a leak, we recommend the bucket test. Place a filled bucket on a pool step or sun shelf, marking the water level inside the bucket and the pool water level outside. Both should evaporate at similar rates. A significant difference may indicate a leak, necessitating professional leak detection services.
